課程概述 |
Is theatre direction a craft? Why did theatre directors only start to appear at the beginning of the twentieth century? This course is designed to answer these questions.
Students are encourage to explore the craft of theatre directing within the context of contemporary theatre making, focusing on the practical and theoretical work of some significant Euro-American theatre directors in the twentieth century with particular reference to their immense achievements and continuing relevance to modern theatre. |

課程目標 |
1. To provide an introduction to the academic study of theatre direction.
2. To account for the historical emergence of this role and its conditions of practice:
encourage a critical knowledge of contemporary directing approaches.
3. To encourage a critical understanding of theatre directors and their practices produced by the social and cultural context.

課程要求 |
有關出席率:
上課遲到一次扣學期總成績一個等第，遲到超過15分鐘則視為缺課，缺課一次扣學期總成績兩個等第，遲到最高上限為3次，3次以上學期總分以零分(X)計算。缺課最高上限兩次，兩次以上學期總分以零分(X)計算。公假或事假需於每週上課前請假報備，病假則需於下次上課時檢附醫師證明。
有關作業評分規定
1、 所有課堂作業必須準時繳交，遲交一天扣該作業成績一個等第，遲交超過三天則一律以零分(X)計算。
2、 所有課堂作業一律以書面型式繳交，12字型，double space。
